A New Arrival...

This past weekend we had a new arrival to our shop that is in for a full resoration.

It is a full numbers matching 1969 Dodge Super Bee with a 383 4-speed combination and a lot of rare options. The restoration work is set to start this fall and it will be restored back to showroom condition back to numbers matching to keep its high value.

We also just uploaded the description and pictures of a 1986 Jaguar XJ6 project we've been working on for the past while. This Jaguar is unique since it is now sporting a 1989 Corvette L98 tuned port engine with a 700R4 transmission and restored interior using original parts. I won't ruin the rest, be sure to check out the description and pictures in the Project Section.

Last but far from least, we've put some pictures up of the 1970 Dodge Challenger Convertible we've been doing some mechanical restoration work on. You have got to check out that paint!

As for a little teaser, we have a 1959 Porsche 356 that will be coming back from paint soon...

It's always great to see a long time project come back from bodywork and paint. The 1969 Mustang had come back in a brilliant 2007 Mustang blue and must be see in the Project Section.

Look who is blogging now...

Everyone has an opinion, right? Well we do too, especially when it comes to cars. So, we've decided to enter into the ever popular area of web logs commonly known as "blogs".

We're going to be focusing on various opinions on what's seen on TV, new performance and auto maker additions to the world of automotive, tips and tricks, and what is going on in our shop.

Things are still in the works and content will be added as regular as possible. To check it out go to http://blog.longlakecustoms.com

Too many cars and too much fun!

Good thing to be saying!

In the shop right now we have a 1970 Challenger for a bit of mechanical attention, and a 1959 Porsche 356 that is being diassembled for some paint and body restoration.

The 1969 Mustang is back from the body shop. We have also just purchased an all numbers matching 1969 Dodge Super Bee 383 4-speed which will be starting its restoration in the fall.

So in short, we have a lot of website updates to do!

Check back on the weeked and I will promise to have new pictures in the Project section uploaded by Sunday!

After a very busy past few months, we've finally had time to dedicate to the development of our new website. With a new darker version of our original website, we hope that the information is easier for our visitors to read.

We've also taken a new approach to how we will be updating the images for the vehicles we are working on so that we can present them in an easier to navigate fashion as well as have the ability to put comments to supply you with more information.

Work has been continuing on our current 1969 Mustang project. The Mustang is now at the body shop for paint and the assembly process should be starting by the end of this month. Be sure to come back and check out the new pictures once it is fresh out of paint.
